Title : The importance of Repentance.
Repentance is a fundamental part of God's requirements of man.
~ jeremiah 25:5 / ezekiel 18:30 / 2 kings 17:13
` Repents now everyone of his evil ways and his evil doing
~ Luke13:3
` Unless you repent. you will all like wise perish.
~ Mark 6:12
` Jesus sent the apostles to preach that people should repent.
~ Acts 2 : 38
` In the first gospel sermon, Peter preached," repent and be baptized everyone of you for the remission of sins."
* Many people misunderstand , forget and neglect the meaning and importance of repentance. Many people sinned and yet NEVER truely repent.
Normally people always after they sin , they'll say . sorry God . forgive me. then after that keep doing it again and again , and they never mean what they say.
Meaning of repentance. :
` A person repents of what he had formed or something he has done.
` Is to really truely admit your mistakes , knowing your mistakes and don't do it again.
` is to change.
Repentance is a change of mind. = a decision = a choice.
Repentance is not lip service. Anybody can say "Lord, I repent." True repentance is marked by some ACTION because you mean it.
* Why must we repent ?
` Luke 13:3 : UNLESS YOU REPENT, YOU WILL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH
` 1 John 1:9 : If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
` 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 : Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?
` Repentance is not just a New Testament ideal. God has always implored man to repent and walk with Him. The WHOLE reason we were created was to walk with our God in HIS HOLINESS, not our sinfulness.

| Those who went for Audacious! Camp. Did you all had fun? Let's give God our praise coz He is worthy of all works in the camp! Wow...I was really impacted in this camp. Not just the games, which makes me the dirtiest over my 16 years of life, but also people's life who has impress me with. My faith has grown. And I believe yours too!! God is great, Amen?! All of us here are really moving on to a higher level and I believe that next year would be a very different year. It's time to move on with God and the ministry of Zone 1! All the young rising leaders, do you have faith in God? Do you really want more?! Then let's be steady to do ALL things for Christ's sake! I was reading the bible this afternoon about David defeating Goliath in the war. As we know, David managed to kill Goliath with a sling and a stone. But how many of us know that, actually, he was not look up by many people in the beginning when he volunteered himself to fight this giant? 1 Samuel 17:33 - And Saul said to David, ou are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.?
Even his brother was angry with him! 1 Samuel 17:28 - Now Eliab his oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; and Eliab anger was aroused against David, and he said, hy did you come down here? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and the insolence of your heart, for you have come down to see the battle.?/P> BUT what did God said? 1 Timothy 4:12 - Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. We all have battles to fight! It might not be just feelings, emotions, problems around with friends or families, but even as a church! What do I mean by that? It means the thing that is revolving around the community. We fight for them! David was not despise by God even though he is young. He did not despise himself too. Instead, he rise to his feet to fight the good fight for Israel! No one is place in church to be just a usual member. Not just attending cell groups and service every week. God called us. He called us for a purpose. And a purpose keeps us moving. You might not know what is the plan God has for you now. But Rachel told me that ' if you do not know which way to go coz God did not told you, just keep moving. ' All of us have battles to fight, especially for a youth. Why? Coz the devil wants to destroy us so that we would stop worshipping our God! The time when Moses was born in Egypt, the children of Israel were killed. When Jesus is born in that period, newborn babies were also slaughtered. He wants to destroy the generation who would arise because of God. Let's put ourselves in the position for more and not being complacent in where we are anymore. If you are God, how would you feel if you are looking down to earth and see what you are doing right now? Daniel 11:32b - but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits I was truly inspired when one of my group member told me this; he says that " I'm going to take back what the devil has taken away from God and give it back to God of what He deserves with what I have" Are you inspired?! Don't wait! Start using what you have to serve Him! I would end this by typing out what Pastor Daniel has written in our Audacious notebook: Do we have the audacity to believe that - Miracles can happen through you - that is AUDACIOUS! Whole school can be transformed because of you - that is AUDACIOUS! We will multiply youth services on a weekend - that is AUDACIOUS! We can have 5,000 passionate young people in Generations - that is AUDACIOUS! We can fill Singapore Indoor Stadium on a BIG DAY - that is AUDACIOUS! -WenDyMarY- | | |
| (: yup.indeed.what dawn said was right. So this year passed and actually it was half wasted half not wasted. As in, the wasted part is because not really a lot of fruits and we didnt really bring a lot of people and sort of quite wasted? But this year we learned a lot of things like how to handle the first batch of young girls and deal with different problems. And of cause ! Next year will be a better year . Well , the leaders said before that if we want to see new people coming in , we must also first move on with God and change ourselves . And now its december . So people lets use this holiday to build our foundation and change ourselves while we have fun. Recently i just realised how childish we were last time . Like example making super lots of noise at public places and everyone looking at us. Ya and of cause now we're in the process of growing up :) Seriously , i'm super excited ! I cant wait to see the works of God ! Its like. imagine next year , maybe lots of people that are hurt , they get saved and their life changed ! Its like. So amazing ! How great is our God ! And to share , you know sometimes our fire is like. up and downs . Sometimes on fire , want more of God and stuffs. Then later a while , the fire goes down . So must pray that the fire wont go down . Oh ya. to share my dreams. I WANT TO BE A MISSIONARY ! :) You know those people in Africa , they have no food to eat , no drink , no clothes , nothing. And some of them is like. SO SKINNY ! Maybe some abandon kids are hiding in the forest or whatever place it is. Everytime when i walk pass food court or what , i see those singaporean , super skinny . Then still dont want eat. Food infront of you , still dont want to eat . Those people out there want eat also canot eat ! Then everytime when people eat the burger , cannot finish , or eat food cannot finish , i feel like wrapping the food up and send to africa . lols. Its like. i want to buy hamburger and so many food for them ! They like no food , then only eat like vegetables or whatever thing they can find there. :( I want to go other countries and help people ! But very dangerous for girl to go , cause sometimes some place have a lot of robbers etc. lols. So , today i learned : Sometimes people raise their hands while worshipping and stuffs , and keep crying ... But sometimes thats just the appearance. To know whether a christian is strong or not is when the tests comes . If the tests comes and he/she backslides , they are weak. As in . They dont even love God at all. I mean its like. you know sometimes people. when they worshipping God and stuffs. They only care about how they look , the people around them , the song, or acting spiritual . But how many really worship God with all our hearts ? When i worship , always at the first part , i cannot concentrate on God , but when you keep seeking and seeking for God , He'll come . Its not like the king have to wait for you. We're the one should be waiting for the king. I've been always like this. Everytime if you all cannot concentrate on God or what , WAIT. Cause if you wait patiently and expecting Him to be here, He will come . And you know what. God is like. So powerfull and so big ! When king Herod didnt give glory to God but himself , an angel of the Lord struck him and he was eaten by worms and died. ( Acts 12 : 21 - 23 ) Hms.. This is not a powerfull talk or what. | Hello my darlings=)
[[[[[[[[[[I've titled this post "Giving Some Real Lovin' " because I feel that till now, we aren't really loving God back as we should and as we proclaim when we praise and worship. Recently, I had a talk with one of you about relationships. Lol. Funny how all we girls can talk and think about is this subject of relationship.
Be honest with yourselves. Most girls usually think most about relationship matters. It's either about our friendships or the boy we like. Some of us right now frankly, are staying in church and 'trying our best' to love God and move on with God, BUT with the motive of having our relationships. To be more specific, our mindsets are, we love God now, grow in God now so we can get into a relationship with the boy we like next time.
Well, sad to say. That will NEVER happen. Obviously, this mindset is WRONG. You want to be in a proper relationship? You want to be with a godly man, have a godly husband? Well, with the mindset I just mentioned, no real man of God would want to be with you. If any self-proclaimed or people-proclaimed, godly boy/man knows that thats the mindset you have and they still want to be with you, then trust me. They aren't godly at all.
All of us, man and women both, HAVE to place God first. We all know that. So, since we all know that, then why do some of us still 'maintain' that kind of a mindset? The proper type of relationship between a christian couple, married or just together, should consist of God being at the head of the relationship. Like what Pehhan shared with a couple of us a few days ago, the relationship between a christian couple should take on the form of a triangle.
Sounds weird and confusing? Well, a triangle, as we all know, has got 3 sides. Right? (If you all don't know, you can go find the nearest wall, and bang your head there 3 times for each side of the triangle. LOL). Well anyway, the triangle looks like this.
Notice that God is at the head of the relationship. The man and his wife, or you and your boyfriend/husband are connected at the head through God. Without God, if He is not placed at the head of the relationship, there will be a missing connection (NOTHING else can take the place of God at the head of the relationship) and just like what's happening in the secular world, you and your husband will NOT have a solid and lasting relationship and, you and your husband can jolly well be prepared to say fast goodbyes. It won't be "till death do us part" anymore but "till I'm sick of you do us part".
Of course all of us want to 'bai tou xie lao' (white head till old / grow old together) with our life partners right? So, God MUST be at the head of the relationship.
Now, let me ask you a question. All of us here are single and not attached right? Well, have we even placed God at the head of our lives now when we're single and free of the burdens that come with being attached? Honestly, until God is truly in His proper place in our hearts and lives, then and only then we will be ready for any relationship (that's God-given of course)
Now, who or what do you think of when you wake up, just before you sleep, whenever you're free, or even all the time. If you're thinking about a particular boy, then WAKE UP. Sorry to smash your dreams (and mine) but that particular person will NEVER be with you. If you're thinking about God and doing things for God, then well done! You're on the right track.]]]]]]]]]]
Okay. I've just repeated what I've taught all of you before. PAY CLOSER ATTENTION NOW.
WE HAVE GOT TO LOVE GOD BACK!
We all know the stories in the Bible that show how much God loves us. We know how to tell people that God loves them and all. We do things for God like being faithful to Him (by staying in church and not backsliding. WHICH SHOULD NOT BE WHAT ANY OF US ARE THINKING because that's the mindset of a follow-up.). Another thing we do for God is, reach out to people, love the people and all that.
Let me tell you this. All these things, definitely pleases God and makes up a part of our 'worship'. But darlings, God wants MORE than that. Would any of you want a husband that shows his love to you by just working and working and earning money for you to spend(bear in mind, because he works all the time, he can't spend time with you or even spend time spending the money he earned for you with you.)? Or would you rather have a husband that does these AND shows his love and passion for you, balancing the two?
Similarly, us girls are created in the image of God.
("And God said, "Let us make human in our image, by our likeness... ... And God created the human in His image, in the image of God he created him, male and female He created them." Gen1:26-27)
God made us in His image, and because of that, God's desires and heart is somehow reflected in us. One part of Him is reflected in the nature of us girls and another in the nature of them boys.
Ok, remember that point first, "one part of Him is reflected in us.".
Now, to quote from "Captivating" (a book), EVERY girl's deepest desires DEFINITELY consists of, whether hidden or not, is "To be romanced". Correct? All of us can't wait to be romanced by some 'dashing macho heroic young man' that'll sweep us off our feet, make us swooon in utter delight. Someone that'll love us so much so that we become 'part' of them. Like, we belong together, that kind of thing.
Well, I believe with ALL my heart, God wants to be romanced by us too! Can you imagine? We romance God, we are so so SOOOO crazily in love with God that He's ALL we can think about, that we want to sing love songs to Him (instead of listening to "Gotta Go My Own Way" and being all emo and trying to cheer ourselves up by telling ourselves that we just need to wait, in the future, we'll definitely have our romantic relationship with the boy we like. Sorry but, PLEASE la huh. Sad to say but that's unrealistic and being as immature as the girls out in the secular world.).
Anyway, imagine 'kissing' God. Imagine saying loveydovey things to God like you would to your boyfriend. Imagine giving God your heart, as in, all of you and all that.
I don't know what all your definitions of romance or being romantic is, but imagine you being romantic to God. Really, it's super cool la! Romancing God will make you fall SO MUCH deeper in love with Him which will sort of make you forget and don't care about all your boy-related worries and all that, AND will help you know God more, WHICH will help you rise up spiritually, WHICH will help you in ministry.
Look! It's like a domino effect. Because of you romancing God, and falling so much more in love with Him, and knowing Him more and all that, a lot of your personal and ministry-related problems will be gone, and you'll be able to do so much more for God in your own walk with Him and in ministry.
Isn't it cool! If any of you think what I'm saying here makes sense but you're too stubborn, unteachable or rebellious to listen AND DO IT. Then for goodness sake, stop wasting my time or your shepherd's time and God's time. Go get lost and get your thinking right before you come back.

ALL of you have said, have been saying AND are saying that you love God and want to do things for Him isn't it. So if any of you want to stick to whatever your mindset or thinking is now, then you are lying when you say you love God and want to do things for Him because you are unwilling to put aside your lousy attitude to "go all out" for God.
Well darlings, sorry for the harsh tone but God desires OUR love. Can you believe it? He desires our love!
Did you girls know, that the FIRST and the GREATEST of ALL commands is to love God?

See! One of the "teachers of the law" asked Jesus which commandment is the most important. What did Jesus answer? He answered back that, "The most important one is this:... Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." (NIV)
LOOK again, from verse32 onwards, the man replied Jesus that to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength... is MORE important then all burnt offerings and sacrifices. Now, we continue reading, what was Jesus' reaction and response to the man?
Jesus "SAW THAT HE HAD ANSWERED WISELY" and said to the man that "You are not far from the kingdom of God".
LOOK! How easy it is to be near the kingdom of God. Loving God with ALL of ourselves alone, brings us nearer to the kingdom of God!
In the story of Martha and Mary, (if you girls don't know, please go ask your shepherds after you bang your heads on the nearest wall also.), Jesus was delighted with Mary because "Mary has chosen what is better.", BECAUSE, Mary chose Him! See, how pleased God is when we choose Him, when we passionately love Him back.
Okay. Before I continue, when I said, God desires our love, it is NOT because God is insecure or because it's His weakness. God is God. God is almighty, all powerful. God has no weaknessess.
But anyway, to quote "Captivating",
"...God wants to be loved. He wants to be a priority to someone... From cover to cover, from beginning to end, the cry of God's heart is, "Why won't you choose me?"..."You will find Me," says the Lord," when you seek me with all your heart" (Jer29:13) In other words," Look for Me, pursue Me-- I want you to pursue me."..."
Wow. God is not only awesomely almighty, all powerful and so much more incredible qualities. He is amazingly humble in this even with all that. How cool is our God.
By the way, it is VERY easy to mix ministry with our walk with God. Please understand and remember that ministry is ministry, our relationship with God is our relationship with God. Loving God IS the priority over ministry. Loving God comes FIRST above all things. REMEMBER this.
Well, I've learnt a lot this past week. I'm just sharing a little of what I've learnt and that really impacted me and made me grow a lot spiritually. Hope this blesses all you darlings. If you girls lazy to read or don't want to change, too bad. Your loss not mine. I'm here to teach and feed. But if you don't want to learn and eat. Then firstly, what are you doing here? Pastor Dan just said in today's service that God cuts off bad trees/branches that grow bad fruit. Fruit also refers to character and if your character is unteachable or stubborn or watever and you're still unwilling to change and learn, then be prepared.
Yepp well, even with another harsh note, I love ALL you girls. Just search your hearts and really get deep into this relationship we all should have with our darling darling God. Amen?

| Hi everyone,
Have you thought of why are we lifting our hands during praise and worship? and the speaking of tongues?
Often, we tend to take praise and worship as band/concert which makes us go 'high' or sentimental. It becomes a 'show' when nobody focus on God! The song goes on and on fluently, people are flunging their hands, but guess what? Nobody is really engaging to the Holy Spirit!
Indeed, Pastor Daniel says that everyone can praise God, but God is looking for people who will worship in spirit and in truth. Even in the last days as we stand before judgement, all of His creation will bow down and worship Him because He's the real living God!
As time goes by, praise and worship becomes an important part of my life. When I was on my down period, it was then I realise that giving praises to God during qt was an release of my burdens and stress. Praise allows strongholds to be broken down like the walls of Jericho came tumbling down as the people blows the trumpet and shout unto God with the voice of triumph. When I thought to myself that I was bound to succeed and failed, it was then I realise that I can't do without God in the areas of life. Worship is about humbling yourself to give Him the full glory!
Last girls D/p, I felt God's presence strongly that we must learn to open up our hearts and sing. Yes, when we sing, don't be shy to sing out, or perhaps some may think that singing loud means making noise. But that's the 'noise' we need! I doubt the people of Jericho sang softly when they are about to attack the enemies. David was singing and dancing till his clothes are dropping out. It was tremendous worship! Probably you might think that you might go out of tune if you try singing it loud. I couldn't sing during the previous girls D/p. I was screeching and going out of tune(It can be prevented if I had done some warm-up). But as the song goes "How great is our God...You're the name above all names...My heart will sing..How great is our God" I couldn't resist but worship. [[The best position to sing is in this position, having your body form a ?shape. Apparently, you will be able to contain more air which helps with singing.]]1 He's definitely worthy of us to sing of His great Name afterall, He has done so much for us! I felt the Spirit of God and managed to relate better of God's heart that time to share.

Let's prepare our hearts when we are having praise and worship. Never let the heart or mind distract us through focusing our eyes on God alone.
